Job Description
The Cameroonian Electronics market is rapidly expanding and our electronics team is responsible for driving the success of the BIG-SCREEN-TV.COM Electronics business. Within that overall team, the Product Marketing and Merchandising team is responsible for managing the end-to-end Electronics customer experience on BIG-SCREEN-TV.COM, and the merchandising presence and performance of Electronics on BIG-SCREEN-TV.COM and off. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving development, implementation, and product marketing of end-to-end experiences on BIG-SCREEN-TV.COM relevant to the Electronics business.Top candidates will be highly collaborative while demonstrating thought leadership, display extremely strong initiative, be impact-oriented, demonstrate both business and product mindsets and have a history of keeping customers top of mind.
Areas of focus will include
• Partnering closely with Electronics Product Management and Engineering to identify and prioritize key opportunities to delight Electronics customers and grow the business
• Driving business requirements and goals for key opportunities, and works with teams to develop product definition and development
• Integrating marketing and broader customer support to drive initiatives’ success during and post launch
• Monitoring and managing to business performance goals, working closely with teams post-launch to identify and prioritize follow on opportunities to ensure achievement of goals
• Working with testing and analytics teams to drive rapid learning, iteration and validation of impact
• Working closely with global partners to ensure alignment throughout definition and development
• Starting with industry knowledge already, build an understanding of BIG-SCREEN-TV.COM’S value proposition for buyers and sellers and provide customer insights throughout the Product process on the Electronics team and horizontally
• Working with relevant cross-functional teams to ensure execution and/or involvement of the Electronics perspective including Product, Seller Experience, Pricing, and Trust & Safety.
• 3-5 years of work experience
• BS/BA
• Previous product marketing experience, in particular with an ecommerce site preferred
• Strong knowledge level on consumer trends in Electronics (computers, cell phones, cameras consumer electronics, etc) a very strong plus
• Strong prioritization skills required.
• Strong analytical skills required to identify performance opportunities, issues and correlations. Data-driven decision maker.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive towards results.
• Exceptional abilities as a cross functional team player
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with both customers and senior executives
